straight answer on depth. the insertable depth is about 7 inches. one buyer said it's roughly two inches too shallow for him, and that review is still on the site because it's true. if you're above about 7 inches you will bottom out. that's not a defect, it's the size — and i'd rather you knew now than after it's made.
if that's you, don't order it. tell me and i'll say so honestly rather than sell you something that won't fit.

the outer shell is rigid abs with a textured panel, so it doesn't slide around in your hand when there's lube involved. the cap comes off both ends.
